Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said : Whoever is not grateful to the people, he is not grateful to Allah.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ لَا يَشْكُرُ النَّاسَ لَا يَشْكُرُ اللَّهَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو لوگوں کا شکر یہ ادا نہ کرے وہ اللہ کا شکر ادا نہیں کرے گا“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

Abu Sa'eed narrated that the Messenger of Allah said : Whoever is not grateful to the people, he is not grateful to Allah.

Abu Dharr narrated that the Messenger of Allah said : Your smiling in the face of your brother is charity, commanding good and forbidding evil is charity, your giving directions to a man lost in the land is charity for you. Your seeing for a man with bad sight is a charity for you, your removal of a rock, a thorn or a bone from the road is charity for you. Your pouring what remains from your bucket into the bucket of your brother is charity for you.

Al-Bara bin Azib narrated that the Messenger of Allah said : Whoever gives someone some milk or silver, or guides him through a strait, then he will have the reward similar to freeing a slave.
