Narrated Musa and 'Eisa, the sons of Talhah: from their father: The Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) said, to an unknowing Bedouin man: 'Ask him who it is that has fulfilled his vow.' They were not in the habit of asking questions out of their respect and reverence for him. So the Bedouin asked him, but he turned away from him. Then he asked him again, but he turned away from him. Then again he asked him, but he turned away from him. Then I stood looking from the door of the Masjid, while I was wearing a green garment, and I saw the Prophet (ﷺ), he said: 'Where is the one who was asking about the one who fulfilled his vow?' The Bedouin said: 'Here I am O Messenger of Allah!' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'This is one who has fulfilled his vow.'

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُوسَى،‏‏‏‏ وَعِيسَى ابني طلحة، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا طَلْحَةَ، أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالُوا لِأَعْرَابِيٍّ جَاهِلٍ:‏‏‏‏ سَلْهُ عَمَّنْ قَضَى نَحْبَهُ مَنْ هُوَ ؟ وَكَانُوا لَا يَجْتَرِئُونَ هُمْ عَلَى مَسْأَلَتِهِ يُوَقِّرُونَهُ وَيَهَابُونَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَسَأَلَهُ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ سَأَلَهُ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ سَأَلَهُ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ إِنِّي اطَّلَعْتُ مِنْ بَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ وَعَلَيَّ ثِيَابٌ خُضْرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا رَآنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ عَمَّنْ قَضَى نَحْبَهُ ؟ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا مِمَّنْ قَضَى نَحْبَهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ كِبَارِ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْمَاعِيل يُحَدِّثُ بِهَذَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ وَوَضَعَهُ فِي كِتَابِ الْفَوَائِدِ.

طلحہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ صحابہ نے ایک جاہل اعرابی سے کہا: تم نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے «من قضى نحبه» کے متعلق پوچھو کہ اس سے کون مراد ہے، صحابہ کا یہ حال تھا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا اس قدر احترام کرتے تھے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ان پر اتنی ہیبت طاری رہتی تھی کہ وہ آپ سے سوال کی جرات نہیں کر پاتے تھے، چنانچہ اس اعرابی نے آپ سے پوچھا تو آپ نے اپنا منہ پھیر لیا، اس نے پھر پوچھا: آپ نے پھر منہ پھیر لیا پھر میں مسجد کے دروازے سے نکلا، میں سبز کپڑے پہنے ہوئے تھا، تو جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے دیکھا تو فرمایا: ” «من قضى نحبه» کے متعلق پوچھنے والا کہاں ہے؟“ اعرابی بولا: میں موجود ہوں اللہ کے رسول! آپ نے فرمایا: ”یہ «عن قضی نحبہ» میں سے ہیں۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ہم اسے صرف ابوکریب کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں جسے وہ یونس بن بکیر سے روایت کرتے ہیں، ۲- کبار محدثین میں سے متعدد لوگوں نے ابوکریب سے روایت کی ہے، ۳- میں نے اسے محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کو ابوکریب کے واسطہ سے بیان کرتے سنا ہے، اور انہوں نے اس حدیث کو اپنی کتاب ”کتاب الفوائد“ میں رکھا ہے۔

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair: from Az-Zubair, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gathered together his parents for me the Day of Quraizah, (i.e. the battle of Ahzab) and said: 'May my mother and father be ransomed for you.'

Narrated Jabir [may Allah be pleased with him]: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Indeed, every Prophet has a Hawari and, [indeed], my Hawari is Az-Zubair [bin Al-'Awwam]. And Abu Na'im added in it: On the Day of Al-Ahzab, he (ﷺ) said: 'Who will bring us news about their party?' Az-Zubair said: 'I will.' He said it three times. Az-Zubair said (each time): 'I will.'

Narrated Hisham bin 'Urwah: On the Day of (the battle of) Al-Jamal, Az-Zubair echorted his son 'Abdullah, saying: 'There is not a part of me except that it has been injured while with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ),' until that ended with his private parts.

Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Humaid: from his father, that Sa'eed bin Zaid reported to him, while in a group of people, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Ten are in Paradise: Abu Bakr is in Paradise, 'Umar is in Paradise, 'Uthman is in Paradise, Az-Zubair and Talhah, 'Abdur-Rahman, Abu 'Ubaidah and Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas - He said: So he counted these nine and was silent concerning the tenth - so the people said: 'We implore you by Allah, O Abu Al-A'war, who is the tenth?' He said: 'You have implored me by Allah. Abu Al-A'war is in Paradise.'
