Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Humaid: from his father, that Sa'eed bin Zaid reported to him, while in a group of people, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Ten are in Paradise: Abu Bakr is in Paradise, 'Umar is in Paradise, 'Uthman is in Paradise, Az-Zubair and Talhah, 'Abdur-Rahman, Abu 'Ubaidah and Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas - He said: So he counted these nine and was silent concerning the tenth - so the people said: 'We implore you by Allah, O Abu Al-A'war, who is the tenth?' He said: 'You have implored me by Allah. Abu Al-A'war is in Paradise.'

حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ مِسْمَارٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَهُ فِي نَفَرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ عَشَرَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ:‏‏‏‏ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُمَرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُثْمَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَلِيٌّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالزُّبَيْرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَطَلْحَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَعَدَّ هَؤُلَاءِ التِّسْعَةَ وَسَكَتَ عَنِ الْعَاشِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ الْقَوْمُ:‏‏‏‏ نَنْشُدُكَ اللَّهَ يَا أَبَا الْأَعْوَرِ مَنِ الْعَاشِرُ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَشَدْتُمُونِي بِاللَّهِ أَبُو الْأَعْوَرِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ أَبُو الْأَعْوَرِ هُوَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدًا يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ هُوَ أَصَحُّ مِنَ الْحَدِيثِ الْأَوَّلِ.

حمید سے روایت ہے کہ سعید بن زید رضی الله عنہ نے ان سے کئی اشخاص کی موجودگی میں بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”دس آدمی جنتی ہیں، ابوبکر جنتی ہیں، عمر جنتی ہیں عثمان، علی، زبیر، طلحہ، عبدالرحمٰن، ابوعبیدہ اور سعد بن ابی وقاص ( جنتی ہیں ) “ وہ کہتے ہیں: تو انہوں نے ان نو ( ۹ ) کو گن کر بتایا اور دسویں آدمی کے بارے میں خاموش رہے، تو لوگوں نے کہا: اے ابوالاعور ہم اللہ کا واسطہ دے کر آپ سے پوچھ رہے ہیں کہ دسواں کون ہے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: تم لوگوں نے اللہ کا واسطہ دے کر پوچھا ہے ( اس لیے میں بتا رہا ہوں ) ابوالاعور جنتی ہیں۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- میں نے محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کو کہتے سنا ہے کہ یہ پہلی حدیث سے زیادہ صحیح ہے، ۲- ابوالاعور سے مراد خود سعید بن زید بن عمرو بن نفیل ہیں۔

Narrated Abu Salamah: from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say: Indeed your [feminine plural: referring to the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ)] affair is from that which concerns me after me, and none shall be able to be patient concerning you except the patient ones. He said: Then 'Aishah said: 'So may Allah give your father drink from the Salsabil of Paradise intending 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf (Abu Salamah is the son of 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf). And he had maintained ties with the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) with property that had been sold for forty-thousand.

Narrated Abu Salamah: that 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf left a garden for the Mothers of the Believers that was sold for for-hundred thousand.

Narrated Sa'd: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: O Allah, respond to Sa'd when he supplicates to You.

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: Sa'd came, so the Prophet (ﷺ) said: This is my maternal uncle, so let a man show me his maternal uncle.

Narrated 'Ali: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not mention both (his) parents for anyone except Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas. On the Day of (the battle of) Uhud he said: 'Shoot, may my father and mother be ransomed for you.' And he said to him: 'Shoot O young man.'
