Narrated Abu Salamah: from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say: Indeed your [feminine plural: referring to the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ)] affair is from that which concerns me after me, and none shall be able to be patient concerning you except the patient ones. He said: Then 'Aishah said: 'So may Allah give your father drink from the Salsabil of Paradise intending 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf (Abu Salamah is the son of 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf). And he had maintained ties with the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) with property that had been sold for forty-thousand.

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ، عَنْ صَخْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ أَمْرَكُنَّ مِمَّا يُهِمُّنِي بَعْدِي،‏‏‏‏ وَلَنْ يَصْبِرَ عَلَيْكُنَّ إِلَّا الصَّابِرُونَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ثُمَّ تَقُولُ عَائِشَةُ:‏‏‏‏ فَسَقَى اللَّهُ أَبَاكَ مِنْ سَلْسَبِيلِ الْجَنَّةِ تُرِيدُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ قَدْ وَصَلَ أَزْوَاجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَالٍ يُقَالُ:‏‏‏‏ بِيعَتْ بِأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفًا. قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( اپنی بیویوں سے ) فرماتے تھے: تم لوگوں کا معاملہ مجھے پریشان کئے رہتا ہے کہ میرے بعد تمہارا کیا ہو گا؟ تمہارے حقوق کی ادائیگی کے معاملہ میں صرف صبر کرنے والے ہی صبر کر سکیں گے۔ پھر عائشہ رضی الله عنہا نے ( ابوسلمہ سے ) کہا: اللہ تمہارے والد یعنی عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف کو جنت کی نہر سلسبیل سے سیراب کرے، انہوں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بیویوں کے ساتھ ایک ایسے مال کے ذریعہ جو چالیس ہزار ( دینار ) میں بکا، اچھے سلوک کا مظاہرہ کیا ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح غریب ہے۔

Narrated Abu Salamah: that 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf left a garden for the Mothers of the Believers that was sold for for-hundred thousand.

Narrated Sa'd: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: O Allah, respond to Sa'd when he supplicates to You.

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: Sa'd came, so the Prophet (ﷺ) said: This is my maternal uncle, so let a man show me his maternal uncle.

Narrated 'Ali: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not mention both (his) parents for anyone except Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas. On the Day of (the battle of) Uhud he said: 'Shoot, may my father and mother be ransomed for you.' And he said to him: 'Shoot O young man.'
