Narrated Hisham bin 'Urwah: On the Day of (the battle of) Al-Jamal, Az-Zubair echorted his son 'Abdullah, saying: 'There is not a part of me except that it has been injured while with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ),' until that ended with his private parts.

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ صَخْرِ بْنِ جُوَيْرِيَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَوْصَى الزُّبَيْرُ إِلَى ابْنِهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ صَبِيحَةَ الْجَمَلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا مِنِّي عُضْوٌ إِلَّا وَقَدْ جُرِحَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى انْتَهَى ذَاكَ إِلَى فَرْجِهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ حَدِيثِ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ.

ہشام بن عروہ کہتے ہیں کہ زبیر رضی الله عنہ نے اپنے بیٹے عبداللہ ( رضی الله عنہما ) کو جنگ جمل کی صبح کو وصیت کی اور کہا: میرا کوئی عضو ایسا نہیں ہے جو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی رفاقت میں زخمی نہ ہوا ہو یہاں تک کہ میری شرمگاہ بھی ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: حماد بن زید کی روایت سے یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے۔

Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Abu Bakr is in Paradise, 'Umar is in Paradise, 'Uthman is in Paradise, 'Ali is in Paradise, Talhah is in Paradise, Az-Zubair is in Paradise, 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf is in Paradise, Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas is in Paradise, and Abu 'Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah is in Paradise.

Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Humaid: from his father, that Sa'eed bin Zaid reported to him, while in a group of people, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Ten are in Paradise: Abu Bakr is in Paradise, 'Umar is in Paradise, 'Uthman is in Paradise, Az-Zubair and Talhah, 'Abdur-Rahman, Abu 'Ubaidah and Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas - He said: So he counted these nine and was silent concerning the tenth - so the people said: 'We implore you by Allah, O Abu Al-A'war, who is the tenth?' He said: 'You have implored me by Allah. Abu Al-A'war is in Paradise.'

Narrated Abu Salamah: from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say: Indeed your [feminine plural: referring to the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ)] affair is from that which concerns me after me, and none shall be able to be patient concerning you except the patient ones. He said: Then 'Aishah said: 'So may Allah give your father drink from the Salsabil of Paradise intending 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf (Abu Salamah is the son of 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf). And he had maintained ties with the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) with property that had been sold for forty-thousand.
