Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Abu Bakr is in Paradise, 'Umar is in Paradise, 'Uthman is in Paradise, 'Ali is in Paradise, Talhah is in Paradise, Az-Zubair is in Paradise, 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf is in Paradise, Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas is in Paradise, and Abu 'Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah is in Paradise.

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُمَرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُثْمَانُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَلِيٌّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَطَلْحَةُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالزُّبَيْرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَعْدٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَعِيدٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ . أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ قِرَاءَةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ هَذَا وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنَ الْحَدِيثِ الْأَوَّلِ

عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ابوبکر جنتی ہیں، عمر جنتی ہیں، عثمان جنتی ہیں، علی جنتی ہیں، طلحہ جنتی ہیں، زبیر جنتی ہیں، عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف جنتی ہیں، سعد جنتی ہیں، سعید ( سعید بن زید ) جنتی ہیں اور ابوعبیدہ بن جراح جنتی ہیں ۱؎ ( رضی اللہ علیہم اجمعین ) “ ابومصعب نے ہمیں خبر دی کہ انہوں نے عبدالعزیز بن محمد کے آگے پڑھا اور عبدالعزیز نے عبدالرحمٰن بن حمید سے اور عبدالرحمٰن نے اپنے والد حمید کے واسطہ سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اسی طرح کی حدیث روایت کی لیکن اس میں عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف کے واسطہ کا ذکر نہیں ہے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث عبدالرحمٰن بن حمید سے بطریق: «عن أبيه عن سعيد بن زيد عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» بھی آئی ہے، ( اور اسی طرح آئی ہے ) ، اور یہ پہلی حدیث سے زیادہ صحیح ہے ( جو آگے آ رہی ہے ) ۔

Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Humaid: from his father, that Sa'eed bin Zaid reported to him, while in a group of people, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Ten are in Paradise: Abu Bakr is in Paradise, 'Umar is in Paradise, 'Uthman is in Paradise, Az-Zubair and Talhah, 'Abdur-Rahman, Abu 'Ubaidah and Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas - He said: So he counted these nine and was silent concerning the tenth - so the people said: 'We implore you by Allah, O Abu Al-A'war, who is the tenth?' He said: 'You have implored me by Allah. Abu Al-A'war is in Paradise.'

Narrated Abu Salamah: from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say: Indeed your [feminine plural: referring to the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ)] affair is from that which concerns me after me, and none shall be able to be patient concerning you except the patient ones. He said: Then 'Aishah said: 'So may Allah give your father drink from the Salsabil of Paradise intending 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf (Abu Salamah is the son of 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf). And he had maintained ties with the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) with property that had been sold for forty-thousand.

Narrated Abu Salamah: that 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf left a garden for the Mothers of the Believers that was sold for for-hundred thousand.

Narrated Sa'd: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: O Allah, respond to Sa'd when he supplicates to You.

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: Sa'd came, so the Prophet (ﷺ) said: This is my maternal uncle, so let a man show me his maternal uncle.

Narrated 'Ali: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not mention both (his) parents for anyone except Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas. On the Day of (the battle of) Uhud he said: 'Shoot, may my father and mother be ransomed for you.' And he said to him: 'Shoot O young man.'
