Abu Hurairah narrated: Allah's Messenger would say the Takhir while he was going down.
دَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُنِيرٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، قَال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُكَبِّرُ وَهُوَ يَهْوِي . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ مِنَ التَّابِعِينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ يُكَبِّرُ الرَّجُلُ وَهُوَ يَهْوِي لِلرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ.
ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جھکتے وقت «الله أكبر» کہتے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- صحابہ کرام اور ان کے بعد کے تابعین میں سے اہل علم کا قول یہی ہے کہ رکوع اور سجدہ کے لیے جھکتے ہوئے آدمی «الله أكبر» کہے۔

Salim narrated from : his father (Ibn Umar) who said: I saw Allah's Messenger when he opened the Salat, raising his hands to the level of his shoulders, and (again) when he bowed, and when he raised his head from bowing. In his narration, Ibn Abi Umar added: And he wuld not raise them between the two prostrations.

Abbas bin Sahl [bin Sa'd] narrated: Abu Humaid, Abu Usaid, Sahl bin Sa'd, and Muhammad bin Maslamah were once together and they were mentioning the Salat of Allah's Messenger. Abu Humaid said: 'I am the most knowledgeable among you of the Salat of Allah's Messenger: Allah's Messenger would bow and place his hands on his knees as if he was grasping them, and he would draw his forearms to hold them away from his sides.'
