It was narrated from Abu Al-Ahwas that his father said: I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and he saw that I was dressed in scruffy clothes. He said: 'Do you have any wealth?' I said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah, all kinds of wealth.' He said: 'If Allah gives you wealth then let its effect be seen on you.'
