It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said to me: 'Five things are from the Fitrah: Trimming the mustache, plucking the armpit hairs, clipping the nails, shaving the pubes and circumcision.'

أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ السُّنِّيِّ قِرَاءَةً،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ لَفْظًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ مَعْمَرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ:‏‏‏‏ قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْخِتَانُ .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ مجھ سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”پانچ چیزیں دین فطرت میں سے ہیں: مونچھ کاٹنا، بغل کے بال اکھیڑنا، ناخن کترنا، ناف کے نیچے کے بال مونڈنا اور ختنہ کرنا“۔

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Ja'far said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] stayed away from the family of Ja'far (when he died) for three days, then he came to them, and said: 'Do not weep for my brother after today.' Then he said: 'Call my brother's sons to me.' We were brought like little chicks, and he said: 'Call the barber for me.' Then he ordered that our heads be shaved.
