Translation

It was narrated from Al-Miqdad bin Al-Aswad that 'Ali told him to ask the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about a man who comes close to his wife and prostatic fluid comes out of him - what should he do? ('Ali said: ) For his daughter is married to me and I feel too shy to ask him. So I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about that and he said: If any one of you experiences that, let him sprinkle water on his private part and perform Wudu' as for Salah.

أَخْبَرَنَا عُتْبَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَالِكٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْمِقْدَادِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ عَلِيًّا أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ إِذَا دَنَا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ فَخَرَجَ مِنْهُ الْمَذْيُ مَاذَا عَلَيْهِ ؟ فَإِنَّ عِنْدِي ابْنَتَهُ وَأَنَا أَسْتَحِي أَنْ أَسْأَلَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ ذَلِكَ فَلْيَنْضَحْ فَرْجَهُ وَيَتَوَضَّأْ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ .

مقداد بن اسود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے انہیں حکم دیا کہ وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس آدمی کے بارے میں سوال کریں جو اپنی بیوی سے قریب ہو اور اس سے مذی نکل آئے، تو اس پر کیا واجب ہے؟ ( وضو یا غسل ) کیونکہ میرے عقد نکاح میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی صاحبزادی ( فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا ) ہیں، اس لیے میں ( خود ) آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھتے ہوئے شرما رہا ہوں، تو میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی ایسا پائے تو اپنی شرمگاہ پر پانی چھڑک لے اور نماز کے وضو کی طرح وضو کرے ۔

It was narrated that 'Ali said: I felt too shy to ask the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about prostatic fluid because of Fatimah, so I told Al-Miqdad bin Al-Aswad to ask about it, and he (the Prophet (ﷺ)) said: 'Perform Wudu' for that.'

Zirr bin Hubaish narrated: I came to a man called Safwan bin 'Assal and sat at his door. He came out and said: 'What do you want?' I said: 'I am seeking knowledge.' He said: 'The angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge out of pleasure at what he is seeking.' He said: 'What do you want to know about?' I said: 'About the Khuffs.' He said: 'When we were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on a journey, he told us not to take them off for three days except in the case of Janabah, but not in the case of defecation, urinating or sleep.'
