It was narrated that 'Ali said: I felt too shy to ask the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about prostatic fluid because of Fatimah, so I told Al-Miqdad bin Al-Aswad to ask about it, and he (the Prophet (ﷺ)) said: 'Perform Wudu' for that.'
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعَلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ مُنْذِرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ اسْتَحْيَيْتُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْمَذْيِ مِنْ أَجْلِ فَاطِمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَمَرْتُ الْمِقْدَادَ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَسَأَلَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ فِيهِ:‏‏‏‏ الْوُضُوءُ .
علی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی وجہ سے مذی کے متعلق رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے خود پوچھنے میں شرم محسوس کی، تو مقداد بن اسود رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم دیا تو انہوں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:  اس میں وضو واجب ہوتا ہے ۔

Zirr bin Hubaish narrated: I came to a man called Safwan bin 'Assal and sat at his door. He came out and said: 'What do you want?' I said: 'I am seeking knowledge.' He said: 'The angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge out of pleasure at what he is seeking.' He said: 'What do you want to know about?' I said: 'About the Khuffs.' He said: 'When we were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on a journey, he told us not to take them off for three days except in the case of Janabah, but not in the case of defecation, urinating or sleep.'

'Urwah said: 'I did not know that.' Marwan said: 'Busrah bint Safwan told me that she heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: And if any one of you touches his penis, let him do Wudu'.
