Narrated Abdullah ibn Mughaffal: Abdullah heard his son praying to Allah: O Allah, I ask Thee a white palace on the right of Paradise when I enter it. He said: O my son, ask Allah for Paradise and seek refuge in Him from Hell-Fire, for I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say: In this community there will be some people who will exceed the limits in purification as well as in supplication.

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي نَعَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مُغَفَّلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏سَمِعَ ابْنَهُ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْقَصْرَ الْأَبْيَضَ عَنْ يَمِينِ الْجَنَّةِ إِذَا دَخَلْتُهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَيْ بُنَيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏سَلِ اللَّهَ الْجَنَّةَ وَتَعَوَّذْ بِهِ مِنَ النَّارِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ فِي هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ قَوْمٌ يَعْتَدُونَ فِي الطَّهُورِ وَالدُّعَاءِ .

ابونعامہ سے روایت ہے کہ عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنے بیٹے کو کہتے سنا: اے اللہ! میں جب جنت میں داخل ہوں تو مجھے جنت کے دائیں طرف کا سفید محل عطا فرما، آپ نے کہا: میرے بیٹے! تم اللہ سے جنت طلب کرو اور جہنم سے پناہ مانگو، کیونکہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ہے: اس امت میں عنقریب ایسے لوگ پیدا ہوں گے جو طہارت اور دعا میں حد سے تجاوز کریں گے ۱؎۔

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: The prayer of a person who does not perform ablution is not valid, and the ablution of a person who does not mention the name of Allah (in the beginning) is not valid.
