Narrated Abdur Rahman ibn Uthman: When a physician consulted the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم about putting frogs in medicine, he forbade him to kill them.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ طَبِيبًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ضِفْدَعٍ يَجْعَلُهَا فِي دَوَاءٍ،‏‏‏‏ فَنَهَاهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَتْلِهَا .
عبدالرحمٰن بن عثمان سے روایت ہے کہ   ایک طبیب نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مینڈک کو دوا میں استعمال کرنے کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انہیں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے مارنے سے منع فرمایا۔

Abd bin Mughaffal said: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم prohibited throwing pebbles (in sport) saying: game is not caught by such means. Neither is an enemy injured, but it may sometimes put out an eye or break a tooth.

Narrated Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah: A woman used to perform circumcision in Madina. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said to her: Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband. Abu Dawud said: It has been transmitted by Ubaid Allah bin Amr from Abd al-Malik to the same effect through a different chain. Abu Dawud said: It is not a strong tradition. It has been transmitted in mursal form (missing the link of the Companions) Abu Dawud said: Muhammad bin Hasan is obscure, and this tradition is weak.

Narrated Abu Usayd al-Ansari: Abu Usayd heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say when he was coming out of the mosque, and men and women were mingled in the road: Draw back, for you must not walk in the middle of the road; keep to the sides of the road. Then women were keeping so close to the wall that their garments were rubbing against it.
