Abu Masud al-Ansari said: A man came to the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and said: Messenger of Allah! I have been left without a mount. So give me a mount. He replied: I have no mount to give, but go to so and so; he may perhaps give you a mount. He then went to him and he gave him a mount. He came to the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and informed him about it. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: if anyone guides someone to a good (deed), he will get the reward like the reward of the one who does it.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنِّي أُبْدِعَ بِي فَاحْمِلْنِي،‏‏‏‏ قال:‏‏‏‏ لَا أَجِدُ مَا أَحْمِلُكَ عَلَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَكِنْ ائْتِ فُلَانًا فَلَعَلَّهُ أَنْ يَحْمِلَكَ،‏‏‏‏ فَأَتَاهُ فَحَمَلَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ .

ابومسعود انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، اور اس نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! میری سواری تھک گئی ہے مجھے کوئی سواری دے دیجئیے، آپ نے فرمایا: میرے پاس کوئی چیز نہیں ہے جس پر تجھے سوار کرا سکوں لیکن تم فلاں شخص کے پاس جاؤ شاید وہ تمہیں سواری دیدے تو وہ شخص اس شخص کے پاس گیا، اس نے اسے سواری دے دی، پھر وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور آپ کو بتایا تو آپ نے فرمایا: جس نے کسی بھلائی کی طرف کسی کی رہنمائی کی تو اس کو اتنا ہی ثواب ملے گا جتنا اس کام کے کرنے والے کو ملے گا ۔

Narrated Abud Darda: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Your love for a thing causes blindness and deafness.

Abu Musa reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: Make intercession to me, you will be rewarded, for Allah decrees what he wishes by the tongue of his prophet.

Narrated Muawiyah: Make intercession, you will be rewarded, for I purposely delay a matter so that you intercede and then you are rewarded. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: If you make intercession, you will be rewarded.
