A similar tradition has also been narrated by Jabir bin Abd Allaah from the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. But this version adds after the phrase “their due” And do not go beyond the destinations.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ هَذَا قَالَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏بَعْدَ قَوْلِهِ:‏‏‏‏ حَقَّهَا وَلَا تَعْدُوا الْمَنَازِلَ.
جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما نے بھی   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ایسی ہی روایت کی ہے، مگر اس میں آپ کے قول «فأعطوا الإبل حقها» کے بعد اتنا اضافہ ہے کہ منزلوں کے آگے نہ بڑھو ( تاکہ جانور کو تکلیف نہ ہو ) ۔

The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: No, you have more right to ride in front on your animal than me unless you grant that right to me. He said: I grant it to you. So he mounted.
