Ibn Umar narrated from Bilal: The Prophet performed Salat in the interior of the Ka'bah. And Ibn Abbas said: He did not perform Salat in it, but he said the Takbir.

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ بِلَالٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فِي جَوْفِ الْكَعْبَةِ . قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ:‏‏‏‏ لَمْ يُصَلِّ وَلَكِنَّهُ كَبَّرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُثْمَانَ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَشَيْبَةَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ بِلَالٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَيْهِ عِنْدَ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ لَا يَرَوْنَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ بَأْسًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وقَالَ مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ:‏‏‏‏ لَا بَأْسَ بِالصَّلَاةِ النَّافِلَةِ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَرِهَ أَنْ تُصَلَّى الْمَكْتُوبَةُ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وقَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ:‏‏‏‏ لَا بَأْسَ أَنْ تُصَلَّى الْمَكْتُوبَةُ وَالتَّطَوُّعُ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لِأَنَّ حُكْمَ النَّافِلَةِ وَالْمَكْتُوبَةِ فِي الطَّهَارَةِ وَالْقِبْلَةِ سَوَاءٌ.

بلال رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کعبہ کے اندر نماز پڑھی۔ جب کہ ابن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں: آپ نے نماز نہیں پڑھی بلکہ آپ نے صرف تکبیر کہی۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- بلال رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں اسامہ بن زید، فضل بن عباس، عثمان بن طلحہ اور شیبہ بن عثمان رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- اکثر اہل علم کا اسی پر عمل ہے۔ وہ کعبہ کے اندر نماز پڑھنے میں کوئی حرج نہیں سمجھتے، ۴- مالک بن انس کہتے ہیں: کعبے میں نفل نماز پڑھنے میں کوئی حرج نہیں، اور انہوں نے کعبہ کے اندر فرض نماز پڑھنے کو مکروہ کہا ہے، ۵- شافعی کہتے ہیں: کعبہ کے اندر فرض اور نفل کوئی بھی نماز پڑھنے میں کوئی حرج نہیں اس لیے کہ نفل اور فرض کا حکم وضو اور قبلے کے بارے میں ایک ہی ہے۔

Al-Aswad bin Yazid narrated that: Ibn Az-Zubair said to him: Narrated to me from what the Mother of the Believers used to (secretly) inform you about - meaning Aishah - so he said: She narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Had your people not been still close to the pre-Islamic period of ignorance, then I would demolish the Ka'bah and rebuild it with two doors.' He said: So when Ibn Az-Zubair came to power he demolished it and rebuilt it with two doors.

Aishah narrated: I wanted to enter the House to perform Salat in it, so the Messenger of Allah took me by the hand and put me in the Hijr, and he said: 'Perform Salat in the Hijri if you want to enter the House. For indeed it is part of the House, but your people considered it insignificant when they built the Ka'bah, so they put it outside the House.'

Ibn Abbas narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said: The Black Stone descended from the Paradise, and it was more white than milk, then it was blackened by the sins of the children of Adam.

Abdullah bin Amr narrated that : He heard the Messenger of Allah saying: Indeed the Corner and the Maqam are two corundums from the corundum of Paradise. Allah removed their lights, and if their lights had not been removed then they would illuminate what is between east and the west.

Ata reported that Ibn Abbas narrated: The Messenger of Allah led us in Salat at Mina for Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha, and Fajr, then he left in the morning to Arafat.
