Translation

Aishah narrated: I wanted to enter the House to perform Salat in it, so the Messenger of Allah took me by the hand and put me in the Hijr, and he said: 'Perform Salat in the Hijri if you want to enter the House. For indeed it is part of the House, but your people considered it insignificant when they built the Ka'bah, so they put it outside the House.'

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كُنْتُ أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَدْخُلَ الْبَيْتَ فَأُصَلِّيَ فِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِي فَأَدْخَلَنِي الْحِجْرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ صَلِّي فِي الْحِجْرِ إِنْ أَرَدْتِ دُخُولَ الْبَيْتِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ قِطْعَةٌ مِنْ الْبَيْتِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَكِنَّ قَوْمَكِ اسْتَقْصَرُوهُ حِينَ بَنَوْا الْكَعْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَخْرَجُوهُ مِنْ الْبَيْتِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ هُوَ عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں میں چاہتی تھی کہ بیت اللہ میں داخل ہو کر اس میں نماز پڑھوں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میرا ہاتھ پکڑا اور مجھے حطیم ۱؎ کے اندر کر دیا اور فرمایا: ”اگر تم بیت اللہ کے اندر داخل ہونا چاہتی ہو تو حطیم میں نماز پڑھ لو، یہ بھی بیت اللہ کا ایک حصہ ہے، لیکن تمہاری قوم کے لوگوں نے کعبہ کی تعمیر کے وقت اسے چھوٹا کر دیا، اور اتنے حصہ کو بیت اللہ سے خارج کر دیا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

Ibn Abbas narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said: The Black Stone descended from the Paradise, and it was more white than milk, then it was blackened by the sins of the children of Adam.

Abdullah bin Amr narrated that : He heard the Messenger of Allah saying: Indeed the Corner and the Maqam are two corundums from the corundum of Paradise. Allah removed their lights, and if their lights had not been removed then they would illuminate what is between east and the west.

Ata reported that Ibn Abbas narrated: The Messenger of Allah led us in Salat at Mina for Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha, and Fajr, then he left in the morning to Arafat.

Al-Hakam reported from Miqsam, that Ibn Abbas narrated: That the Prophet prayed Zuhr and Fajr in Mina, then he left in the morning to Arafat.

Aishah said: We said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Shall we build a structure to shade you at Mina? He said: 'No., Mina is a resting place for whoever arrives.'
