Ibn Abbas narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said: The Black Stone descended from the Paradise, and it was more white than milk, then it was blackened by the sins of the children of Adam.

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ نَزَلَ الْحَجَرُ الْأَسْوَدُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَهُوَ أَشَدُّ بَيَاضًا مِنَ اللَّبَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَسَوَّدَتْهُ خَطَايَا بَنِي آدَمَ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”حجر اسود جنت سے اترا، وہ دودھ سے زیادہ سفید تھا، لیکن اسے بنی آدم کے گناہوں نے کالا کر دیا ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابن عباس کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عبداللہ بن عمر اور ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

Abdullah bin Amr narrated that : He heard the Messenger of Allah saying: Indeed the Corner and the Maqam are two corundums from the corundum of Paradise. Allah removed their lights, and if their lights had not been removed then they would illuminate what is between east and the west.

Ata reported that Ibn Abbas narrated: The Messenger of Allah led us in Salat at Mina for Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha, and Fajr, then he left in the morning to Arafat.

Al-Hakam reported from Miqsam, that Ibn Abbas narrated: That the Prophet prayed Zuhr and Fajr in Mina, then he left in the morning to Arafat.

Aishah said: We said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Shall we build a structure to shade you at Mina? He said: 'No., Mina is a resting place for whoever arrives.'

Harithah bin Wahb said: I prayed two Rak'ah with the Prophet at Mina, and the people were as secure as they ever were, and even more so.

Amr bin Dinar narrated from Amr bin Abdulah bin Safwan, that Yazid bin Shaiban said: Ibn Mirba Al-Ansari came to us while we were standing at our places (Amr bin Sinar said:) a place that Amr (bin Abdullah) indicated was far - and he said: 'I am a messenger whom the Messenger of Allah sent to you to say: 'Stay with your (Hajj) rites, for indeed you are following a legacy left by Ibrahim.'
