Narrated Anas bin Malik: The advent of the Prophet (ﷺ) was on Monday and 'Ali performed Salat on Tuesday.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَابِسٍ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْمُلَائِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ بُعِثَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ،‏‏‏‏ وَصَلَّى عَلِيٌّ يَوْمَ الثُّلَاثَاءِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَذَا غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ مُسْلِمٍ الْأَعْوَرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمُسْلِمٌ الْأَعْوَرُ لَيْسَ عِنْدَهُمْ بِذَلِكَ الْقَوِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ حَبَّةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ نَحْوَ هَذَا.
انس بن مالک رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دوشنبہ کو مبعوث کیا گیا اور علی نے منگل کو نماز پڑھی۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- اور یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ہم اسے صرف مسلم اعور کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں اور مسلم اعور محدثین کے نزدیک قوی نہیں ہیں، ۲- اسی طرح یہ حدیث مسلم اعور سے بھی آئی ہے اور مسلم نے حبہ کے واسطہ سے اسی طرح علی سے روایت کی ہے، ۳- اس باب میں علی رضی الله عنہ سے بھی روایت ہے۔
