Narrated Al-Miswar bin Makhramah: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) distributed some cloaks but he did not give anything to Makhramah. Makhramah said: 'O my son! Let us go to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).' So I went with him. He said: 'Enter and call him for me.'So I called the Prophet (ﷺ) for him, then the Prophet (ﷺ) came out wearing one of the cloaks. He (ﷺ) said: 'I kept this one for you.' He said: So he looked at him and said: 'Makhramah is pleased.'

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ قَسَمَ أَقْبِيَةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَمْ يُعْطِ مَخْرَمَةَ شَيْئًا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ مَخْرَمَةُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا بُنَيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏انْطَلِقْ بِنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَانْطَلَقْتُ مَعَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ادْخُلْ فَادْعُهُ لِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَدَعَوْتُهُ لَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَخَرَج النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَيْهِ قِبَاءٌ مِنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ خَبَأْتُ لَكَ هَذَا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَنَظَر إِلَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَال:‏‏‏‏ رَضِيَ مَخْرَمَةُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ اسْمُهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ.

مسور بن مخرمہ رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کچھ قبائیں تقسیم کیں، اور مخرمہ کو ( ان میں سے ) کچھ نہ دیا۔ مخرمہ رضی الله عنہ نے کہا: اے میرے بیٹے مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس لے کر چلو، تو میں ان کے ساتھ گیا۔ انہوں نے کہا: تم اندر جاؤ اور آپ کو میرے پاس بلا لاؤ، چنانچہ میں آپ کو ان کے پاس بلا کر لانے کے لیے چلا گیا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نکل کر تشریف لائے۔ تو آپ کے پاس ان قباؤں میں سے ایک قباء تھی“، آپ نے فرمایا: ”یہ میں نے تمہارے لیے چھپا رکھی تھی“۔ مسور کہتے ہیں: پھر مخرمہ نے آپ کو دیکھا اور بول اٹھے: مخرمہ اسے پا کر خوش ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- ابن ابی ملیکہ کا نام عبداللہ بن عبیداللہ بن ابی ملیکہ ہے۔

Narrated 'Amr bin Shu'aib: from his father, from his grandfather who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Indeed Allah loves to see the results of his favors upon His Slaves.'
