Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

Narrated 'Amr bin Shu'aib: from his father, from his grandfather: The Prophet (ﷺ) prohibited plucking gray hair. And he said: It is the Muslim's light.'

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى عَنْ نَتْفِ الشَّيْبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّهُ نُورُ الْمُسْلِمِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَغَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ.

عمرو بن العاص رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بڑھاپے کے ( سفید ) بال اکھیڑنے سے منع کیا، اور فرمایا ہے: ”یہ تو مسلمان کا نور ہے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن ہے، ۲- عبدالرحمٰن بن حارث اور کئی دیگر لوگوں سے یہ حدیث عمر بن شعیب کے واسطہ سے مروی ہے۔

Narrated Salim and Hamzah, the sons of 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: from their father that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: An omen is in three: A woman, a dwelling, and a (riding) beast.

Narrated Isma'il bin Abi Khalid: that Abu Juhaifah said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) (he was) white and turning grey. Al-Hasan bin 'Ali resembles him most. He had promised thirteen young she-camels for us, so we went to get them. When we arrived he had died without giving us anything. So when Abu Bakr (became the Khalifah) he said: 'If there is anyone to whom the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) made a promise, then let him come forth.' I stood to inform him about it, and he ordered that they be given to us.
