Narrated Salim and Hamzah, the sons of 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: from their father that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: An omen is in three: A woman, a dwelling, and a (riding) beast.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، وَحَمْزَةَ، ابني عبد الله بن عمر، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الشُّؤْمُ فِي ثَلَاثَةٍ:‏‏‏‏ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْمَسْكَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالدَّابَّةِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبَعْضُ أَصْحَابِ الزُّهْرِيِّ لَا يَذْكُرُونَ فِيهِ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنَّمَا يَقُولُونَ عَنْ سَالِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”نحوست تین چیزوں میں ہے ( ۱ ) عورت میں ( ۲ ) گھر میں ( ۳ ) اور جانور ( گھوڑے ) میں“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث صحیح ہے، ۲- زہری کے بعض اصحاب ( تلامذہ ) اس حدیث کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے «عن حمزة» کا ذکر نہیں کرتے بلکہ «عن سالم عن أبيه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» کہتے ہیں۔

Narrated Isma'il bin Abi Khalid: that Abu Juhaifah said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) (he was) white and turning grey. Al-Hasan bin 'Ali resembles him most. He had promised thirteen young she-camels for us, so we went to get them. When we arrived he had died without giving us anything. So when Abu Bakr (became the Khalifah) he said: 'If there is anyone to whom the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) made a promise, then let him come forth.' I stood to inform him about it, and he ordered that they be given to us.
