It was narrated from Uthman bin Affan that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) saw a man following a pigeon and said: A male devil chasing a female devil.
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ الطَّائِفِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْعُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ ّرَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَجُلًا وَرَاءَ حَمَامَةٍ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ شَيْطَانٌ يَتْبَعُ شَيْطَانَةً .
عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو کبوتر کے پیچھے لگا ہوا دیکھ کر فرمایا: شیطان شیطانہ کے پیچھے لگا ہوا ہے ۔
