It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) saw a man chasing a pigeon and said: 'A devil chasing a devil.'

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَصْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا رَوَّادُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا يَتْبَعُ حَمَامًا،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ شَيْطَانٌ يَتْبَعُ شَيْطَانًا .

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو کبوتر کے پیچھے لگا ہوا دیکھ کر فرمایا: شیطان شیطان کے پیچھے لگا ہوا ہے ۔

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: If anyone of you knew what is wrong with being alone, no one would travel at night by himself.
