It was narrated that `Abdur-Rahman bin Hasanah said: The Messenger of Allah came out to us holding a small shield in his hand. He put it down, then he sat down and urinated towards it. Some of the people said: 'Look at him, he urinates like a woman!' The Prophet heard that and said: 'Woe to you! Do you not know what happened to one of the children of Israel? If any urine touched any part of their clothes, they would cut that out with scissors. He told them not to do that, so he was tormented in his grave.' (Da'if) Another chain with similar wording.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنِ حَسَنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِي يَدِهِ الدَّرَقَةُ فَوَضَعَهَا ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فَبَالَ إِلَيْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ:‏‏‏‏ انْظُرُوا إِلَيْهِ يَبُولُ كَمَا تَبُولُ الْمَرْأَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَسَمِعَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَيْحَكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَمَا عَلِمْتَ مَا أَصَابَ صَاحِبَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كَانُوا إِذَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْبَوْلُ قَرَضُوهُ بِالْمَقَارِيضِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَنَهَاهُمْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَعُذِّبَ فِي قَبْرِهِ .

عبدالرحمٰن بن حسنہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے پاس آئے، اس وقت آپ کے ہاتھ میں ایک ڈھال تھی، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے رکھا اور اس کی آڑ میں بیٹھ کر پیشاب کیا، کچھ لوگوں نے ( بطور استہزاء ) کہا کہ انہیں دیکھو ایسے پیشاب کرتے ہیں جیسے عورت پیشاب کرتی ہے، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سنا اور فرمایا: افسوس ہے تم پر، بنی اسرائیل کے ایک شخص کو جو مصیبت پہنچی، تمہیں اس کی خبر نہیں؟ ان کے کپڑوں میں پیشاب لگ جاتا تو اسے قینچی سے کاٹتے تھے، ایک شخص نے انہیں اس عمل سے روک دیا، تو اسے اس کی قبر میں عذاب دیا گیا ۔

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah passed by two new graves, and he said: 'They are being punished, but they are not being punished for anything major. One of them was heedless about preventing urine from getting on his clothes, and the other used to walk about spreading malicious gossip.'

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'Most of the torment of the grave is because of urine.'

Bahr bin Marrar narrated that his grandfather Abu Bakrah said: The Messenger of Allah passed by two graves, and he said: 'They are being punished but they are not being punished for anything major. One of them is being punished because of urine, and the other is being punished because of backbiting.'

It was narrated that Muhajir bin Qunfudh bin (Umair) bin Jud'an said: I came to the Prophet when he was performing ablution and greeted him with the Salam, but he did not return (the greeting). When he had finished his ablution he said: 'Nothing prevented me from returning your greeting but the fact that I need to have ablution.' (Da'if) Another chain with similar wording.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: A man passed by the Prophet while he was urinating, and greeted him with the Salam, but he did not return the greeting. While he finished, he struck the ground with his palms and did dry ablution (Tayammum), then he returned the greeting.

It was narrated from Jabir bin `Abdullah that: A man passed by the Prophet while he was urinating, and greeted him by the Salam. The Messenger of Allah said to him: If you see me in this situation, do not greet me with the Salam, for if you do that I will not respond to you.'
