Bahr bin Marrar narrated that his grandfather Abu Bakrah said: The Messenger of Allah passed by two graves, and he said: 'They are being punished but they are not being punished for anything major. One of them is being punished because of urine, and the other is being punished because of backbiting.'
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي بَحْرُ بْنُ مَرَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَبْرَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّهُمَا لَيُعَذَّبَانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا يُعَذَّبَانِ فِي كَبِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَمَّا أَحَدُهُمَا فَيُعَذَّبُ فِي الْبَوْلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ فَيُعَذَّبُ فِي الْغَيْبَةِ .
ابوبکرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دو قبروں کے پاس سے گزرے تو فرمایا: ان دونوں کو عذاب دیا جا رہا ہے، اور یہ عذاب کسی بڑے گناہ کی وجہ سے نہیں ہو رہا ہے ( جس سے بچنا مشکل تھا ) ایک شخص کو تو پیشاب کی چھینٹے سے نہ بچنے کی وجہ سے عذاب دیا جا رہا ہے، اور دوسرا غیبت ( چغلی ) کرنے کی وجہ سے ۔

It was narrated that Muhajir bin Qunfudh bin (Umair) bin Jud'an said: I came to the Prophet when he was performing ablution and greeted him with the Salam, but he did not return (the greeting). When he had finished his ablution he said: 'Nothing prevented me from returning your greeting but the fact that I need to have ablution.' (Da'if) Another chain with similar wording.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: A man passed by the Prophet while he was urinating, and greeted him with the Salam, but he did not return the greeting. While he finished, he struck the ground with his palms and did dry ablution (Tayammum), then he returned the greeting.

And Allah loves those who make themselves clean and pure. was revealed, the Messenger of Allah said: 'O Ansar! Allah has praised you for your cleanliness. What is the nature of your cleanliness?' They said: 'We perform ablution for prayer and we take bath to cleanse ourselves of impurity due to sexual activity, and we clean ourselves with water (after urinating). He said: 'This is what it is. So adhere to it.'
