It was narrated that Abu Razin said: I saw Abu Hurairah clap his hand to his forehead and say: 'O people of Al-'Iraq, you claim that I tell lies about the Messenger of Allah [SAW]. I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: If the strap of the sandal of one of you breaks, let him not walk in the other until he fixes it.'
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَضْرِبُ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى جَبْهَتِهِ،‏‏‏‏ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا أَهْلَ الْعِرَاقِ،‏‏‏‏ تَزْعُمُونَ أَنِّي أَكْذِبُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَشْهَدُ لَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ نَعْلِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَمْشِ فِي الْأُخْرَى حَتَّى يُصْلِحَهَا .
ابورزین کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیکھا وہ اپنی پیشانی پر ہاتھ مار رہے تھے، اور کہہ رہے تھے: عراق والو! تم کہتے ہو کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر جھوٹ گھڑتا، میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: ”جب تم میں سے کسی کے جوتے کا تسمہ ٹوٹ جائے تو ایک جوتا پہن کر نہ چلے یہاں تک کہ اسے ٹھیک کرا لے“۔

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that: The Prophet [SAW] lay down on a leather mat and sweated. Umm Sulaim got up and collected his sweat and put it in a bottle. The Prophet [SAW] saw her and said: What are you doing O Umm Sulaim? She said: I am putting your sweat in my perfume. And the Prophet [SAW] smiled.

It was narrated that Samurah bin Sahm said: I came to Abu Hashim bin 'Utbah when he was suffering the plague, and Mu'awiyah came to visit him. Abu Hashim wept. Mu'awiyah said to him: 'Why are you weeping? Is it because of some pain that is hurting you, or is it for this world, the best of which has gone?' He said: 'Neither, but the Messenger of Allah [SAW] gave me some advice, which I wish that I had followed. He said: Perhaps you will live to see wealth that will be distributed among the people when all that would suffice you of that would be a servant and a mount to ride in the cause of Allah. I lived to see that, and I accumulated (wealth).'
