Translation

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that: The Prophet [SAW] lay down on a leather mat and sweated. Umm Sulaim got up and collected his sweat and put it in a bottle. The Prophet [SAW] saw her and said: What are you doing O Umm Sulaim? She said: I am putting your sweat in my perfume. And the Prophet [SAW] smiled.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَر، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي الْوَزِيرِ أَبُو مُطَرِّفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اضْطَجَعَ عَلَى نَطْعٍ فَعَرِقَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَامَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ إِلَى عَرَقِهِ فَنَشَّفَتْهُ فَجَعَلَتْهُ فِي قَارُورَةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَرَآهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا هَذَا الَّذِي تَصْنَعِينَ يَا أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ ؟ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ أَجْعَلُ عَرَقَكَ فِي طِيبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَضَحِكَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک کھال پر لیٹے تو آپ کو پسینہ آ گیا، ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا اٹھیں اور پسینہ اکٹھا کر کے ایک شیشی میں بھرنے لگیں، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں دیکھا تو فرمایا: ”ام سلیم! یہ تم کیا کر رہی ہو؟“ وہ بولیں: میں آپ کے پسینے کو عطر میں ملاؤں گی، یہ سن کر نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہنسنے لگے ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Samurah bin Sahm said: I came to Abu Hashim bin 'Utbah when he was suffering the plague, and Mu'awiyah came to visit him. Abu Hashim wept. Mu'awiyah said to him: 'Why are you weeping? Is it because of some pain that is hurting you, or is it for this world, the best of which has gone?' He said: 'Neither, but the Messenger of Allah [SAW] gave me some advice, which I wish that I had followed. He said: Perhaps you will live to see wealth that will be distributed among the people when all that would suffice you of that would be a servant and a mount to ride in the cause of Allah. I lived to see that, and I accumulated (wealth).'

It was narrated that Abu Umamah bin Sahl said: The pommel of the sword of the Messenger of Allah [SAW] was of silver.

It was narrated that Anas said: The metallic end of the scabbard of the Messenger of Allah [SAW] was of silver, the pommel of his sword was silver, and in between were rings of silver.

It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Abi Al-Hasan said: The pommel of the sword of the Messenger of Allah [SAW] was of silver.

It was narrated that 'Ali said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said to me: Say: O Allah, make me steadfast and guide me. And he forbade me to sit on Al-Mayathir. Al-Mayathir: Qassi which the women used to put on the saddles for their husbands, such as red cushions.

It was narrated that Humaid bin Hilal said: Abu Rifa'ah said: 'I came to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] while he was delivering a Khutbah, and said: O Messenger of Allah, a stranger has come to ask about his religion, for he does not know what his religion is. The Messenger of Allah [SAW] stopped delivering his Khutbah and turned to me. A chair was brought, and I think its legs were of iron. The Messenger of Allah [SAW] sat down on it and started to teach me what Allah has taught him, then he went and completed his Khutbah.'
