It was narrated from 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that his father said: The Talbiyah of the Messenger of Allah was: Labbaika Allahumma Labbaik, Labbaika la sharika laka labbaik. Innal-hamda wan-ni'mata laka wal-mulk, la sharika lak (Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty, You have no partner). And Ibn 'Umar added: Labbaika Labbaika wasa'daika wal-khayr fi yadika, warraghba' ilaika wal-'aml (Here I am, here I am, and at Your service; all good is in Your hands, seeking Your pleasure and striving for Your sake).
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَتْ تَلْبِيَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ ،‏‏‏‏ وَزَادَ فِيهِ ابْنُ عُمَرَ:‏‏‏‏ لَبَّيْكَ لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ وَالْخَيْرُ فِي يَدَيْكَ وَالرَّغْبَاءُ إِلَيْكَ وَالْعَمَلُ .
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا تلبیہ یوں تھا: «لبيك اللہم لبيك لبيك لا شريك لك لبيك إن الحمد والنعمة لك والملك لا شريك لك» اور اس میں ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اتنا اضافہ کیا ہے: «لبيك لبيك وسعديك والخير في يديك والرغباء إليك والعمل» یعنی ”میں حاضر ہوں، تیری خدمت میں، میری سعادت ہے تیرے پاس آنے میں، بھلائی تیرے ہی ہاتھ میں ہے، رغبت تیری ہی طرف ہے، اور عمل بھی تیرے ہی لیے ہے“۔
