It was narrated that Aishah said: I do not know that the Messenger of Allah recited the whole Quran in one night, or prayed Qiyam until morning, or ever fasted an entire month except Ramadan. '

أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ لَا أَعْلَمُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ كُلَّهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا قَامَ لَيْلَةً حَتَّى الصَّبَاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا صَامَ شَهْرًا كَامِلًا قَطُّ غَيْرَ رَمَضَانَ .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نہیں جانتی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کبھی ایک ہی رات میں سارا قرآن پڑھا ہو، یا پوری رات صبح تک قیام کیا ہو، یا رمضان کے علاوہ کسی مہینے کے پورے روزے رکھے ہوں۔

And he did not fast for a whole month from the time he came to Al-Madinah, apart from Ramadan. ' '
