Narrated Aishah: I and the Messenger of Allaah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم took a bath from one vessel while we were sexually defiled.

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي مَنْصُورٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ وَنَحْنُ جُنُبَانِ .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دونوں ایک ہی برتن سے نہایا کرتے تھے اور ہم دونوں جنبی ہوتے۔

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: My hands and the hands of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم alternated into one vessel while we performed ablution.

Narrated Ibn Umar: The males and females during the time of the Messenger of Allah ( sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam ) used to perform the ablution from one vessel together. The wordings from one vessel occur in the version of Musaddad.

Narrated Abd Allaah bin Umar: We (men) and women during the life-time of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to perform ablution from one vessel. We all put our hands in it.

Narrated Humayd al-Himyari: Humayd al-Himyari reported: I met a person (among the Companion of Prophet) who remained in the company of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلمfor four years as Abu Hurairah remained in his company. He reported: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم forbade that the female should wash with the water left over by the male, and that the male should wash with the left-over of the female. The version of Musaddad adds: That they both take the handful of water together.

Narrated Hakam ibn Amr: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم forbade that the male should perform ablution with the water left over by the female.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: A man asked the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم: Messenger of Allah, we travel on the sea and take a small quantity of water with us. If we use this for ablution, we would suffer from thirst. Can we perform ablution with sea water? The Messenger صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم replied: Its water is pure and what dies in it is lawful food.
