Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم saw a man pursuing a pigeon. He said: A devil is pursuing a female devil.

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَجُلًا يَتْبَعُ حَمَامَةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ شَيْطَانٌ يَتْبَعُ شَيْطَانَةً .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو دیکھا کہ وہ کبوتری کا ( اپنی نظروں سے ) پیچھا کر رہا ہے ( یعنی اڑا رہا ہے ) تو آپ نے فرمایا: ایک شیطان ایک شیطانہ کا پیچھا کر رہا ہے ۱؎ ۔

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: The Compassionate One has mercy on those who are merciful. If you show mercy to those who are on the earth, He Who is in the heaven will show mercy to you. Musaddad did not say: The client of Adb Allah bin Amr. He said: The Prophet (saw) said.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: I heard Abul Qasim صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم who spoke the truth and whose word was verified say: Mercy is taken away only from him who is miserable.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Those who do not show mercy to our young ones and do not realise the right of our elders are not from us.

Tamim al-Dari reported the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying; Religion conduct; religion consists in sincere conduct. The people asked; to whom should it be directed, Messenger of Allah? He replied: To Allah, his book, his Messenger, the leaders (public authorities) of the believers and all the believers, and the leaders (public authorities) of Muslim and the Muslims and the Muslims in general.

Narrated Jarir: I swore allegiance to the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم promising to hear and obey, and behave sincerely towards every Muslim. Abu Zurah said: Whenever he sold and bought anything, he would say: What we took from you is dearer to us than what we gave you. So choose (as you like).

Abu Hurairah reported the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: If anyone removes his brother’s anxiety of this world, Allah will remove for him one of the anxieties of the Day of resurrection; if anyone makes easy for an impoverished man, Allah will make easy for him in this world and on the day of resurrection; if anyone conceals a Muslim’s secrets, Allah will conceal his secrets in this world and on the Day of resurrection; Allah will remain in the aid of a servant so long as the servant remains in the aid of his brother. Abu Dawud said: Uthman did not transmit the following words from Abu Muawiyah: “if anyone makes easy for an impoverished man”.
