Abu Hurairah reported the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: If anyone removes his brother’s anxiety of this world, Allah will remove for him one of the anxieties of the Day of resurrection; if anyone makes easy for an impoverished man, Allah will make easy for him in this world and on the day of resurrection; if anyone conceals a Muslim’s secrets, Allah will conceal his secrets in this world and on the Day of resurrection; Allah will remain in the aid of a servant so long as the servant remains in the aid of his brother. Abu Dawud said: Uthman did not transmit the following words from Abu Muawiyah: “if anyone makes easy for an impoverished man”.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَعُثْمَانُ ابْنَا أَبِي شَيْبَةَ الْمَعْنَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال عُثْمَانُ،‏‏‏‏ وَجَرِيرٌ الرَّازِيُّ. ح وحَدَّثَنَاوَاصِلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى،‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ وَاصِلٌ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حُدِّثْتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ثُمَّ اتَّفَقُوا،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا نَفَّسَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ يَسَّرَ عَلَى مُعْسِرٍ يَسَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ سَتَرَ عَلَى مُسْلِمٍ سَتَرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاللَّهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ عُثْمَانُ عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ:‏‏‏‏ وَمَنْ يَسَّرَ عَلَى مُعْسِرٍ.

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو شخص کسی مسلمان کی دنیاوی تکالیف میں سے کوئی تکلیف دور کر دے، تو اللہ اس کی قیامت کی تکالیف میں سے کوئی تکلیف دور فرمائے گا، اور جس نے کسی نادار و تنگ دست کے ساتھ آسانی و نرمی کا رویہ اپنایا تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے ساتھ دنیا و آخرت میں آسانی کا رویہ اپنائے گا، اور جو شخص کسی مسلمان کا عیب چھپائے گا تو اللہ تعالیٰ دنیا و آخرت میں اس کا عیب چھپائے گا، اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندے کی مدد میں رہتا ہے، جب تک کہ بندہ اپنے بھائی کی مدد میں رہتا ہے ۔

Hudhaifah said: Your prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Every good act is a SADAQAH (almsgiving).

Narrated Abud Darda: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: On the Day of Resurrection you will be called by your names and by your father's names, so give yourselves good names.

Ibn Umar reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: Your names which are dearest to Allah are Abdullah and Abdur-Rahman.

Narrated Abu Wahb al-Jushami: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Call yourselves by the names of the Prophets. The names dearest to Allah are Abdullah and Abdur Rahman, the truest are Harith and Hammam, and the worst are Harb and Murrah.

Anas said; I took Abdullah bin Abi Talhah, when he was born, to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, and the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was wearing a wool;en cloak and rubbing tar on his camel. He asked: Have you some dates? I said: Yes. I then gave him some dates which he put in his mouth, chewed them, opened his mouth and them in it. The baby began to lick them. The prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: ANSAR’s favourite (fruit) is dates. And he gave him the name of Abdur-Rahman.
