Saeed al-Jariri quoted Abu al-Tufail as saying: I saw the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. I asked: How did you see him? He said: He was white, good-looking, and when he walked, it looked as if he was descending to a low ground.

حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ خُلَيْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ كَيْفَ رَأَيْتَهُ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ أَبْيَضَ مَلِيحًا إِذَا مَشَى كَأَنَّمَا يَهْوِي فِي صَبُوبٍ .

سعید جریری کی روایت ہے کہ ابوالطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا، سعید کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے کہا: آپ کو کیسا دیکھا؟ وہ کہا: آپ گورے خوبصورت تھے جب چلتے تو ایسا لگتا گویا آپ نیچی جگہ میں اتر رہے ہیں۔
