Narrated Anas ibn Malik: The pommel of the sword of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was of silver.

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِضَّةً.

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی تلوار کے قبضہ کی خول چاندی کی تھی۔

Narrated Saeed ibn AbulHasan: The pommel of the sword of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was of silver. Qatadah said: I do not know that anyone has supported him for that (for the tradition narrated by Saeed bin Abu al-Hasan).
