Narrated Samurah ibn Jundub: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم prohibited to cut a piece of leather between two fingers.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا قُرَيْشُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى أَنْ يُقَدَّ السَّيْرُ بَيْنَ أُصْبَعَيْنِ .

سمرہ بن جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے چمڑے کو دو انگلیوں کے درمیان رکھ کر کاٹنے سے منع فرمایا۔

Narrated as-Saib ibn Yazid: as-Saib reported on the authority of a man whom he named: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم put on two coats of mail during the battle of Uhud as a double protection. (The narrator is doubtful about the word zahara or labisa. )
