Ubaid Allah bin Abu Bakr bin Anas reported on the authority of Anas bin Malik that he used to apply collyrium when he was fasting.

حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُتْبَةَ أَبِي مُعَاذٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْتَحِلُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ .

عبیداللہ بن ابی بکر بن انس کہتے ہیں کہ انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سرمہ لگاتے تھے اور روزے سے ہوتے تھے۔

Al-Amash said: I did not see any of our companions who abominated the use of collyrium by a man who fasting. Ibrahim would permit the man who was fasting to apply collyrium with aloes.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: if one has a sudden attack of vomiting while one is fasting, no atonement is required of him, but if he vomits intentionally he must make atonement.

Narrated Madan bin Talhah: That Abu ad-Darda narrated to him: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم vomited and broke his fast. Then I met Thawban, the client of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, in the mosque in Damascus, I said (to him): Abu al-Darda has told me that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم vomited and broke his fast. He said: He spoke the truth ; and I poured out water for his ablution صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم.
