Al-Amash said: I did not see any of our companions who abominated the use of collyrium by a man who fasting. Ibrahim would permit the man who was fasting to apply collyrium with aloes.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى الْبَلْخِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عِيسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا يَكْرَهُ الْكُحْلَ لِلصَّائِمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ يُرَخِّصُ أَنْ يَكْتَحِلَ الصَّائِمُ بِالصَّبِرِ .

اعمش کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے اپنے ساتھیوں میں سے کسی کو بھی روزے دار کے سرمہ لگانے کو ناپسند کرتے نہیں دیکھا اور ابراہیم نخعی روزے دار کو «صبر» ( ایک قسم کا سرمہ ہے ) کے سرمے کی اجازت دیتے تھے۔

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: if one has a sudden attack of vomiting while one is fasting, no atonement is required of him, but if he vomits intentionally he must make atonement.

Narrated Madan bin Talhah: That Abu ad-Darda narrated to him: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم vomited and broke his fast. Then I met Thawban, the client of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, in the mosque in Damascus, I said (to him): Abu al-Darda has told me that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم vomited and broke his fast. He said: He spoke the truth ; and I poured out water for his ablution صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم.

Narrated Aishah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to kiss and embrace while he was fasting, but he was the one of you who had most control over his desire.
