Narrated Madan bin Talhah: That Abu ad-Darda narrated to him: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم vomited and broke his fast. Then I met Thawban, the client of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, in the mosque in Damascus, I said (to him): Abu al-Darda has told me that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم vomited and broke his fast. He said: He spoke the truth ; and I poured out water for his ablution صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَعِيشَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي مَعْدَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ. حدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَاءَ فَأَفْطَرَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَقِيتُ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَسْجِدِ دِمَشْقَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ. حدَّثَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَاءَ فَأَفْطَرَ. قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ صَدَقَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَا صَبَبْتُ لَهُ وَضُوءَهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

معدان بن طلحہ کا بیان ہے کہ ابوالدرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نے ان سے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو قے ہوئی تو آپ نے روزہ توڑ ڈالا، اس کے بعد دمشق کی مسجد میں میری ملاقات ثوبان رضی اللہ عنہ سے ہوئی تو میں نے کہا کہ ابوالدرداء نے مجھ سے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو قے ہو گئی تو آپ نے روزہ توڑ دیا اس پر ثوبان نے کہا: ابوالدرداء نے سچ کہا اور میں نے ہی ( اس وقت ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے وضو کا پانی ڈالا تھا۔

Narrated Aishah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to kiss and embrace while he was fasting, but he was the one of you who had most control over his desire.

Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab: I got excited, so I kissed while I was fasting, I then said: Messenger of Allah, I have done a big deed; I kissed while I was fasting. He said: What do you think if you rinse your mouth with water while you are fasting. The narrator Isa ibn Hammad said in his version: I said to him: There is no harm in it. Then both of them agreed on the version: He said: Then what?

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to kiss her and suck her tongue when he was fasting.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: A man asked the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم whether one who was fasting could embrace (his wife) and he gave him permission; but when another man came to him, and asked him, he forbade him. The one to whom he gave permission was an old man and the one whom he forbade was a youth.
