Abu Burda reported: I visited A'isha and she brought out for us the coarse lower garfnent (of Allah's Messenger) made in Yemen and clothes made out of Mulabbada cloth, and she swore in the name of Allah that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) died in these two clothes.

حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَأَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيْنَا إِزَارًا غَلِيظًا مِمَّا يُصْنَعُ بِالْيَمَنِ وَكِسَاءً مِنْ الَّتِي يُسَمُّونَهَا الْمُلَبَّدَةَ قَالَ فَأَقْسَمَتْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُبِضَ فِي هَذَيْنِ الثَّوْبَيْنِ

سلیمان بن مغیرہ نے کہا : ہمیں حمید نے ابو بردہ سے حدیث سنائی ، کہا : میں حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو انھوں نے ایک مو ٹا تہبند جو یمن میں بنایا جا تا ہے اور ایک اوپر کی چادر ( موٹی سخت اور پیوند لگےہو نے کی وجہ سے ) جسے مُلْبَدَہکہا : جا تا ہے نکال کر دکھا ئی ، کہا : انھوں نے اللہ کی قسم کھا ئی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انھی دوکپڑوں میں داعی اجل کو لبیک کہا تھا ۔

Abu Burda reported that A'isha brought out for us the lower garment and the upper garment made of the Mulabbada cloth and said: It was in these (clothes) that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) died. Ibn Hatim (one of the narrators) in his narration Wd: The lower garment of coarse cloth.

A'isha reported that Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) went out one morning wearing a blanket made of (camel's or sheep's) black hair with patterns of camel saddles upon it.
