Translation

Abu Burda reported that A'isha brought out for us the lower garment and the upper garment made of the Mulabbada cloth and said: It was in these (clothes) that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) died. Ibn Hatim (one of the narrators) in his narration Wd: The lower garment of coarse cloth.

حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، وَيَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ، قَالَ ابْنُ حُجْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، قَالَ أَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيْنَا عَائِشَةُ إِزَارًا وَكِسَاءً مُلَبَّدًا فَقَالَتْ فِي هَذَا قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏ قَالَ ابْنُ حَاتِمٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ إِزَارًا غَلِيظًا ‏.‏

علی بن حجر سعدی محمد بن حاتم اور یعقوب بن ابرا ہیم نے ( اسماعیل ) ابن علیہ سے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے ایوب سے ، انھوں نے حمید بن ہلال سے ، انھوں نے ابو بردہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے ہمیں ایک تہبنداور ایک پیوند لگی ہو ئی مو ٹی چا در نکا ل کر دکھا اور فرما یا : " انھی دوکپڑوں میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی وفات ہو ئی تھی ۔ ابن حاتم نے اپنی حدیث میں کہا : مو ٹا تہبند ۔

Jabir reported: When I was married, Allah's Messenger (may peace he upon him) asked me if I had got the carpet. I said: How can we have carpets? (i. e. I am so poor that I cannot even think of carpets). whereupon he said: You shall soon possess them.
