A'isha (Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ), reported: I applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) with my own hand before he entered upon the state of Ihram, and as he concluded it before circumambulating the House (for Tawaf-i-lfada).

وحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَفْلَحُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ: «طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِي لِحُرْمِهِ حِينَ أَحْرَمَ، وَلِحِلِّهِ حِينَ أَحَلَّ، قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ»

افلح بن حمید نے قاسم بن محمد کے واسطے سے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی اہلیہ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے کہا : جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے احرام باندھا تو احرام کے لیے اور طواف بیت اللہ سے پہلے جب آپ نے احرا م کھو لا تو آپ کے احرا م کھولنے کے لیے میں نے آپ کو اپنے ہا تھ سے خوشبو لگا ئی ۔

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I used to apply perfume to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) before his entering upon the state of Ihram and at the conclusion of it, before circumambulating the House (for Tawaf Ifada).

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said: I applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as he became free from Ihram and as he entered upon it.

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said: I applied perfume of Dharira to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) with my hand (on the occasion of) the Farewell Pilgrimage on freeing from the state of Ihram and entering upon it.

Uthman b. 'Urwa reported on the authority of his father that he said: I asked 'A'isha with what thing she perfumed the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) at the time of entering upon the state of Ihram. She said: With the best of perfume.

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I applied the best perfume, which I could get, to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) before entering upon the state of Ihram (and after this) he put on the Ihram.

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I applied the best available perfume I could find to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) before he entered upon the state of Ihram and after he was free from it.
