Abdullah b. 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) spent the night at Dhu'l-Hulaifa while commencing (the rites of) Pilgrimage and he observed prayer in the mosque.

وحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، - قَالَ أَحْمَدُ: حَدَّثَنَا، وَقَالَ حَرْمَلَةُ: - أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «بَاتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ مَبْدَأَهُ، وَصَلَّى فِي مَسْجِدِهَا»

حضرت عبد اللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( سفر کے ) شروع میں ذوالحلیفہ میں رات گزاری اور وہاں کی مسجد میں نماز ادا کی ۔

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) before he entered upon the state of lhram and (concluding) before circumambulating the (sacred) House.

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ), reported: I applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) with my own hand before he entered upon the state of Ihram, and as he concluded it before circumambulating the House (for Tawaf-i-lfada).

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I used to apply perfume to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) before his entering upon the state of Ihram and at the conclusion of it, before circumambulating the House (for Tawaf Ifada).

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said: I applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as he became free from Ihram and as he entered upon it.

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said: I applied perfume of Dharira to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) with my hand (on the occasion of) the Farewell Pilgrimage on freeing from the state of Ihram and entering upon it.

Uthman b. 'Urwa reported on the authority of his father that he said: I asked 'A'isha with what thing she perfumed the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) at the time of entering upon the state of Ihram. She said: With the best of perfume.
