A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said: The Apostle of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) forbade them (his Companions) to observe Saum Wisal out of mercy for them. They said: You (Holy Prophet) yourself observe it. Upon this he said: I am not like you. My Lord feeds me and provides me drink.

وحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ عَبْدَةَ، قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: نَهَاهُمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْوِصَالِ رَحْمَةً لَهُمْ، فَقَالُوا: إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ، قَالَ: «إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَهَيْئَتِكُمْ، إِنِّي يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِي»

اسحاق بن ابراہیم ، عثمان بن ابی شیبہ ، عبدہ بن سلیمان ، ہشام بن عروہ ، حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کو شفقت کے طور پر وصال کے روزوں سے منع فرمایا صحابہ رضوان اللہ عنھم اجمعین نے عرض کیاکہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تو وصال کے روزے رکھتے ہیں؟آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا میں تمہاری طرح نہیں ہوں ۔ کیونکہ میرا رب مجھے کھلاتا اور پلاتا ہے ۔

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) kissed one of his wives while he was fasting, and then she ('A'isha) smiled (as she narrated).

Sufyan reported: I said to 'Abd al-Rahman b. Qasim: Have you heard from your father narrating from 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) that he kissed her while observing fast? He ('Abd al-Rahman b. Qasim) kept silence for a short while and then said: Yes.

A'isha reported: Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) used to kiss me while observing fast; and who among you can control his desire as the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) could control his desire.

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) used to kiss (his wives) while fasting and embraced (them) while fasting; but he had the greatest mastery over his desire among you.
