Sufyan reported: I said to 'Abd al-Rahman b. Qasim: Have you heard from your father narrating from 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) that he kissed her while observing fast? He ('Abd al-Rahman b. Qasim) kept silence for a short while and then said: Yes.

حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ: أَسَمِعْتَ أَبَاكَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُقَبِّلُهَا وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ» فَسَكَتَ سَاعَةً، ثُمَّ قَالَ: نَعَمْ

علی بن حجر ، ابن ابی عمر ، حضرت سفیان رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے عبدالرحمٰن بن قاسم سے پوچھا کہ کیا تم نے اپنے باپ کو عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت بیان کرتے ہوئے سنا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم روزہ کی حالت میں ان کا بوسہ لے لیا کرتے تھے؟حضرت عبدالرحمٰن تھوڑی دیر خاموش رہے پھر فرمایا ہاں ۔

A'isha reported: Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) used to kiss me while observing fast; and who among you can control his desire as the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) could control his desire.

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) used to kiss (his wives) while fasting and embraced (them) while fasting; but he had the greatest mastery over his desire among you.

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) used to kiss (his wives) while fasting; and he had the greatest control over his desire (as compared with you).

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) used to embrace (his wives) while fasting.

Aswad reported: I and Masruq went to 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) and asked. her if the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) embraced (his wives) while fasting. She said: Yes; but he had the greatest control over his desire among you: or he was one of those who had control over his desire.

It is further narrated on the authority of Aswad and Masruq that they went to the Mother of the Believers and they asked her (and the rest of the hadith is the same)
