Translation

Umara reported: I heard Abd Sa'id al-Khudri as saying that he had heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) make (this) observation with a gesture of his five fingers, and then he narrated the hadith as transmitted by 'Uyaina (hadith 2134).

و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ وَأَشَارَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِكَفِّهِ بِخَمْسِ أَصَابِعِهِ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ

ابن جریج نے کہا : مجھے عمرو بن یحییٰ بن عمارہ نے اپنے والد یحییٰ بن عمارہ سے خبر دی ، انھوں نے کہا : میں حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، کہہ رہے تھے : میں نے ر سول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی ہتھیلی سے اپنی پانچوں انگلیوں سے اشارہ کیا ۔ ۔ ۔ پھر ( ابن جریج نے سفیان ) بن عینیہ کی حدیث کی طرح بیان کیا ۔

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: Sadaqa (zakat) is payable on less than five wasqs of (dates or grains), on less than five camel-heads, and on less than five uqiyas (of silver).
