Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: No Sadaqa is payable on less than five wasqs of dates or grains.

و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسَاقٍ مِنْ تَمْرٍ وَلَا حَبٍّ صَدَقَةٌ

وکیع نے سفیان سے ، انھوں نے اسماعیل بن امیہ سے ، انھوں نے محمد بن یحییٰ بن حبان سے ، انھوں نے یحییٰ بن عمارہ سے اور انھوں نے حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انھوں نےکہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " پانچ وسق سے کم کھجور اور غلے میں صدقہ نہیں ہے ۔ "
