Abu Ma'mar reported: There was an Amir in Mecca who pronounced taslim twice. Abdullah said: Where did he get this sunnah? Al-Hakam said: There is a hadith to the effect that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) did like It.
حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، وَمَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ، «أَنَّ أَمِيرًا كَانَ بِمَكَّةَ يُسَلِّمُ تَسْلِيمَتَيْنِ» فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: أَنَّى عَلِقَهَا؟ قَالَ الْحَكَمُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ
  زہیر بن حرب نے کہا : ہمیں یحییٰ بن سعید نے شعبہ سے حدیث بیان کی ‘ انھوں نے حکم اور منصور سے ‘ انھوں نے مجاہد سے اور انھوں نے ابو معمر سے روایت کی کہ ایک حاکم جو مکہ میں تھا دو طرف سلام پھیرتا تھا ۔ حضرت عبد اللہ ( بن مسعود ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ ) نے کہا : وہ کہا سے اس سنت سے وابستہ ہوا ہے ؟ حکم نے اپنی حدیث میں کہا : ( عبداللہ بن مسعود ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ ) نے کہا رسول اللہﷺایسے ہی کیا کرتے تھے ۔

A'isha reported: The Prophet ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) entered my house when a Jewess was with me and she was saying: Do you know that you would be put to trial in the grave? The Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) trembled (on hearing this) and said: It is the Jews only who would-be put to trial. 'A'isha said: We passed some nights and then the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: Do you know that it has been revealed to me: You would be put to trial in the grave ? 'A'isha said: 1 heard the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) seeking refuge from the torment of the grave after this.
