Narrated Zainab bint Jahsh: The Prophet got up from his sleep with a flushed red face and said, None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Woe to the Arabs, from the Great evil that is nearly approaching them. Today a gap has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog like this. (Sufyan illustrated by this forming the number 90 or 100 with his fingers.) It was asked, Shall we be destroyed though there are righteous people among us? The Prophet said, Yes, if evil increased.

حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الزُّهْرِيَّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُنَّ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : اسْتَيْقَظَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ النَّوْمِ مُحْمَرًّا وَجْهُهُ ، يَقُولُ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَبِ مِنْ شَرٍّ قَدِ اقْتَرَبَ ، فُتِحَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ رَدْمِ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مِثْلُ هَذِهِ ، وَعَقَدَ سُفْيَانُ تِسْعِينَ أَوْ مِائَةً ، قِيلَ : أَنَهْلِكُ وَفِينَا الصَّالِحُونَ ؟ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، إِذَا كَثُرَ الْخَبَثُ .

ہم سے مالک بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے زہری سے سنا، انہوں نے عروہ سے، انہوں نے زینب بنت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے، انہوں نے ام حبیبہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے اور انہوں نے زینب بنت جحش رضی اللہ عنہا سے کہ انہوں نے بیان کیا نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نیند سے بیدار ہوئے تو آپ کا چہرہ سرخ تھا اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرما رہے تھے اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ عربوں کی تباہی اس بلا سے ہو گی جو قریب ہی آ لگی ہے۔ آج یاجوج ماجوج کی دیوار میں سے اتنا سوراخ ہو گیا اور سفیان نے نوے یا سو کے عدد کے لیے انگلی باندھی پوچھا گیا کیا ہم اس کے باوجود ہلاک ہو جائیں گے کہ ہم میں صالحین بھی ہوں گے؟ فرمایا ہاں! جب برائی بڑھ جائے گی ( تو ایسا ہی ہو گا ) ۔

Narrated Usama bin Zaid: Once the Prophet stood over one of the high buildings of Medina and then said (to the people), Do you see what I see? They said, No. He said, I see afflictions falling among your houses as rain drops fall.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, Time will pass rapidly, good deeds will decrease, miserliness will be thrown (in the hearts of the people) afflictions will appear and there will be much 'Al-Harj. They said, O Allah's Apostle! What is Al-Harj? He said, Killing! Killing! (See Hadith No. 63, Vol. 8)

Narrated `Abdullah and Abu Musa: The Prophet said, Near the establishment of the Hour there will be days during which Religious ignorance will spread, knowledge will be taken away (vanish) and there will be much Al-Harj, and Al- Harj means killing.
