Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Once I stayed overnight in the house of my aunt Maimuna bint Al-Harith and Allah's Apostle was with her as it was her turn. Allah's Apostle got up to offer the night prayer. I stood on his left but he took hold of my two locks of hair and made me stand on his right. Narrated Abu Bishr: (the above Hadith) but he quoted: Ibn `Abbas said, (took hold of) my two braids on my head.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَنْبَسَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : بِتُّ لَيْلَةً عِنْدَ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ خَالَتِي ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَهَا فِي لَيْلَتِهَا ، قَالَ : فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ، فَقُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ ، قَالَ : فَأَخَذَ بِذُؤَابَتِي فَجَعَلَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ .

ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے فضل بن عنبسہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو ہشیم بن بشیر نے خبر دی، کہا ہم کو ابوالبشر جعفر نے خبر دی (دوسری سند) امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ نے کہا اور ہم سے قریبہ بن سعید نے کہا کہ ہم سے ہشیم نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوبشر نے، ان سے سعید بن جبیر نے اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے ایک رات اپنی خالہ ام المؤمنین میمونہ بنت حارث رضی اللہ عنہا کے گھر گزاری، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے اس رات انہیں کے ہاں باری تھی۔ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم رات کی نماز پڑھنے کھڑے ہوئے تو میں بھی آپ کے بائیں طرف کھڑا ہو گیا۔ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ اس پر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میرے سر کے بالوں کی ایک لٹ پکڑی اور مجھے اپنی داہنی طرف کر دیا۔

Narrated Ubaidullah bin Hafs: that `Umar bin Nafi` told him that Nafi`, Maula `Abdullah had heard `Umar saying, I heard Allah's Apostle forbidding Al-Qaza'. 'Ubaidullah added: I said, What is Al-Qaza'? 'Ubaidullah pointed (towards his head) to show us and added, Nafi` said, 'It is when a boy has his head shaved leaving a tuft of hair here and a tuft of hair there. Ubaidullah pointed towards his forehead and the sides of his head. 'Ubaidullah was asked, Does this apply to both girls and boys? He said, I don't know, but Nafi` said, 'The boy.' 'Ubaidullah added, I asked Nafi` again, and he said, 'As for leaving hair on the temples and the back part of the boy's head, there is no harm, but Al-Qaza' is to leave a tuft of hair on his forehead unshaved while there is no hair on the rest of his head, and also to leave hair on either side of his head.'

Narrated (Abdullah) bin `Umar: Allah's Apostle forbade Al-Qaza' (leaving a tuft of hair here and there after shaving one's head.)

Narrated `Aisha: I applied perfume to the Prophet with my own hands when he wanted to assume the state of Ihram, and I also perfumed him at Mina before he departed from there (to perform Tawaf-al-Ifada).

Narrated Sa`d: A man peeped into the house of the Prophet through a hole while the Prophet was scratching his head with a Midrai (a certain kind of comb). On that the Prophet said (to him), If I had known you had been looking, then I would have pierced your eye with that instrument, because the asking of permission has been ordained so that one would not see things unlawfully.
